Disaster & Business Continuity Management

The purpose of Integrated Disaster & Business Continuity Management Planning (IDMP) is to describe how the organisation deals with disaster risk management preparation planning, response and recovery, in line with legislative national disaster management requirements as defined in the Disaster Management Amendment Act (2015) and accompanying National Disaster Management framework and planning guides.

By combining our maturity model to consider not only disaster management protocols but also to include business continuity imperatives in line with ISO22301, BCI Guidelines, and the ABMI model for Business Continuity (2021) we ensure that there is no duplication of efforts and that resources are expended on areas where maximum impact can be achieved.
