Terence is an entrepreneur, advisor and author in governance, risk and compliance with significant experience within the private, public and non-profit sectors. He is the author of the attribute-based maturity index for risk management implementation and competency development.

He is currently a director and audit & risk committee member of DMS Powders, the global leader in manufacture and distribution of Ferrosilicon powders used in the mineral separation process by mining companies. Terence has worked in various roles over the past 29-years, most spent in an advisory role. He has previously worked at what is now known as SNG Grant Thornton, Nedbank Group, and Zimnat Insurance Group. He is a past board member of Medicover Medical Scheme and Liberty Medical Scheme as well as past-Chairperson of the Risk Committees of Gauteng Department of Roads & Transport as well as gFleeT. He also dedicates his time to the support of small business development through mentorship as well as risk and compliance management support.
